Magicycle Cruiser Pro Step-Thru
Step On. Ride Far. Come Back Smiling.
"100 Miles of Range. Zero Hassle Getting On."
The Magicycle Cruiser Pro Step-Thru puts 1,500 watts of peak power and a 100-mile battery behind the lowest, most accessible frame in the Cruiser Pro family. This is the same 52V fat tire electric bike that earned the Cruiser Pro its reputation — same motor, same battery, same brakes, same suspension — in a step-through electric bike frame that you walk through instead of climb over.
If you have tried other step-through electric bikes and found them underpowered or range-limited, the Cruiser Pro Step-Thru changes the equation. The 52V 20Ah battery packs 1,040 watt-hours — nearly double what most competitors offer at this price — and the 750W hub motor peaks at 1,500 watts with 100 Nm of torque. This is not a casual neighborhood cruiser pretending to be an all-terrain electric bike. It is the real thing in a more accessible package.
"We get asked constantly whether the Step-Thru is less capable than the Step-Over. It is not. Same drivetrain, same controller, same frame material and testing standard. The only thing that changes is how easily you get on and off."
BUILT FOR RIDERS WHO
- You want a step-through electric bike that does not sacrifice power or range for the convenience of a low frame — no compromises, just easier access.
- You have a knee, hip, or back condition that makes swinging a leg over a high crossbar painful, but you still want to ride trails, beaches, and back roads on fat tires.
- You are buying an electric bike for adults in your household with different mobility needs — this pairs perfectly with the Step-Over or Mid-Step for matching performance on different frames.
- You ride daily for errands, commuting, or fitness and need a long range electric cruiser bike that starts every morning without fuss.
WALK THROUGH. RIDE ANYWHERE.
The Frame That Opens Doors
Step-through frames used to mean step-down in performance. Not anymore. The Cruiser Pro Step-Thru runs the same 52V 750W FOC smart controller as the entire Cruiser Pro lineup, managing power from a 1,040Wh battery through a brushless hub motor that peaks at 1,500 watts. The 6061 aluminum frame passes Magicycle's 200,000-vibration durability test and carries up to 500 lbs of total payload — rider, cargo, and gear.
The step-through geometry eliminates the crossbar entirely, creating a clear walk-through opening from the seat tube to the head tube. You step through the frame instead of lifting a leg over it. This makes stops, starts, and dismounts faster and safer — especially when the bike is loaded with groceries on the rear rack or you are wearing bulky winter gear. Every other component stays the same: 26" x 4" Kenda fat tires, 80mm hydraulic suspension fork, 180mm hydraulic disc brakes, color LCD display with USB charging, and full lighting.
WHY THIS BUILD MATTERS
The Step-Thru frame exists because getting on and off a 76 lb electric bike should not be the hardest part of your ride. Here is why this frame choice matters more than most riders expect.
Safety at Every Stop
On a step-over frame, quick stops on uneven ground force an awkward dismount that can tip a heavy, loaded ebike. The step-through design lets you plant both feet flat instantly — especially critical on trails, at intersections, and when carrying rear rack cargo.
Identical Spec Sheet
Same 750W/1,500W peak motor, 52V 20Ah battery, 80mm suspension, 180mm hydraulic brakes, and Shimano 7-speed as the Step-Over and Mid-Step. The only line item that changes on the spec sheet is frame geometry. Performance, range, and durability are identical.
Wider Rider Accessibility
Riders with limited hip flexion, knee replacements, or back injuries can still ride a capable fat tire electric bike without aggravating their condition. The step-through frame also accommodates riders in skirts, uniforms, or bulky outerwear.

Is the Step-Thru weaker than the Step-Over?
No. Every component is identical — motor, battery, controller, brakes, suspension, gearing, and tires. The Step-Thru frame uses the same 6061 aluminum alloy and passes the same 200,000-vibration durability test. Only the frame shape differs.
How far does the Cruiser Pro Step-Thru go on one charge?
Up to 100 miles on pedal assist depending on assist level, terrain, and rider weight. Real-world riders report 50 to 70 miles in mixed conditions. Throttle-only range is around 35 to 45 miles.
Is this a good electric bike for seniors?
Yes. The step-through frame eliminates the need to swing a leg over a high crossbar, making mounting and dismounting safer and easier. The 500 lb payload capacity accommodates heavier riders, and the hydraulic suspension fork absorbs bumps that would be uncomfortable on a rigid frame.
Can I ride the Step-Thru on trails and off-road?
Yes. The 26" x 4" Kenda fat tires, 80mm hydraulic suspension fork, and 1,500W peak motor handle sand, gravel, packed dirt, and moderate trails. The step-through frame does not reduce off-road capability.
What colors does the Cruiser Pro Step-Thru come in?
Pearl White and Midnight Blue. Both options pair well with the included full fenders, rear rack, and integrated lights for a clean, cohesive look.
