Rambo Megatron 4.0
Two Motors. Four Corners of Traction. Up to 110 Miles Deep.
"One motor gets you out there. Two motors get you back."
The Rambo Megatron 4.0 is Rambo's most powerful hunting machine — an all-wheel drive hunting e-bike running a 1000W Bafang hub motor in each wheel. Together they put down 2000W of nominal power, a 2500W peak, and 180Nm of torque, with a thumb switch that toggles between front-wheel, rear-wheel, and all-wheel drive as the terrain changes under you. Loose gravel, wet clay, snow, sand — when one wheel spins, the other one keeps pulling.
Everything around those dual 1000W motors is built for the load-out: a hydroformed 6061 T6 frame with a 350 lb load capacity, an integrated welded rear rack, Kenda 26" x 4.8" anti-puncture fat tires, and heavy-duty 4-piston hydraulic brakes to bring it all back down the hill. Choose a 48V 20Ah or 30Ah LG-cell battery for up to 65 miles per charge — and stretch that to 110 miles with Rambo's dual battery technology.
"A single hub motor pushes from one wheel — and on a loose, steep grade, one driven wheel is exactly where traction fails. The Megatron drives both wheels. When the rear breaks loose in shale or mud, the front motor is already pulling you through it. That is the practical case for dual-motor AWD on a hunting bike: it turns terrain that stops a single hub drive into terrain you simply ride."
BUILT FOR RIDERS WHO
- You hunt country where a single-motor bike spins out — steep two-tracks, greasy clay, early-season snow
- You want to cover ten miles before first light without a drop of sweat or a decibel of engine noise
- You have packed out quarters on your back and swore that was the last time
- You would rather carry one simple, bombproof drivetrain than a derailleur waiting to meet a rock
2000W OF ALL-WHEEL DRIVE
Two Hubs, Toggled On the Fly
Most e-bikes drive one wheel. The Megatron 4.0 AWD drives both — a 1000W Bafang hub motor front and rear, for 2000W nominal, a 2500W peak rating, and 180Nm of torque. A handlebar toggle lets you pick front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive, or full AWD without stopping. Run a single motor on the flat approach to conserve battery, then switch both on when the trail tips up or turns to soup.
Under load is where the layout earns it. With power at both axles, a wheel that slips on loose gravel or wet roots does not strand you — the other motor keeps traction while the Kenda 26" x 4.8" anti-puncture tires put a huge footprint on the ground. And when gravity flips sides, 203mm front / 180mm rear Rambo Heavy-Duty 4-piston hydraulic brakes with integrated motor cutoff haul the whole rig back under control.
UP TO 110 MILES BETWEEN CHARGES
Pick Your Battery. Then Double It.
The Megatron ships with your choice of a 48V 20Ah (960Wh) or 48V 30Ah (1440Wh) battery — both built with LG branded cells — good for up to 65 miles on a single pack. Add Rambo's 48V 14Ah (672Wh) CYR dual battery and the system stretches to 110 miles of range. That is not a commute number. That is ride in, hunt all day, ride out, and do it again tomorrow before the charger comes off the wall.
Capacity also buys you power headroom. Deep range means you can afford to run full AWD through the ugly miles and still have battery for the loaded haul out — up to 36 mph of top speed when you need to cover open ground fast. The battery weighs 12 lbs (20Ah) or 16 lbs (30Ah) and locks to the frame, with the bike itself at 89 lbs before the pack goes on.
KEY FEATURES
Storm LED Lightbar
Rambo's custom LED light bar toggles between white and green modes — wide beam for the ride in, green for stealth when it counts.
On-the-Fly AWD Control
Toggle between front-wheel, rear-wheel, and all-wheel drive from the bars. Single motor conserves battery on easy ground; both motors grip when it gets loose or steep.
HD 4-Piston Brakes
Rambo Heavy-Duty hydraulic brakes — 203mm front, 180mm rear — with integrated electric motor cutoff. Consistent stopping power under load and on steep descents.
Single-Speed Drivetrain
No derailleur to bend, adjust, or break miles from the truck. A maintenance-free single speed with a KMC chain — upgradeable to a Shimano 8-speed if you want gears.
Kenda 26" x 4.8" Tires
Anti-puncture aggressive-tread fat tires on extreme-strength double-wall alloy rims. Nearly five inches of rubber floating over sand, snow, and rock.
Integrated Rear Rack
A rear rack built into the frame for stability and even weight distribution — ready for panniers, gear bags, and hauling accessories on a 350 lb capacity platform.
WHY THIS BUILD MATTERS
Spec sheets are easy. Here is what the Megatron's engineering actually buys you when you are miles past the last road with a load to bring home.
Traction You Can Toggle
On a loose or greasy grade, a single driven wheel spins and you walk. With 1000W at each axle, the Megatron keeps pulling through surfaces that defeat single-hub bikes — and switching to one motor on easy ground stretches every watt-hour of battery.
180Nm and 36 mph
180Nm of combined torque means loaded starts on a hill instead of push-starts, and a 36 mph top end means open two-track gets covered fast. Power is not a bragging number here — it is time back in your morning and distance between you and pressured ground.
350 lb Load Capacity
Rider, pack, rifle, and quarters add up fast. A 350 lb capacity on a TIG-welded, hydroformed 6061 T6 frame with an integrated rack means the Megatron hauls the way out as confidently as it climbed the way in.

What does all-wheel drive actually do for me versus a single-motor e-bike?
A single hub motor drives one wheel — and on loose gravel, mud, snow, or a steep grade, one driven wheel is where traction fails first. The Megatron puts a 1000W Bafang motor in each wheel, so when one tire slips the other keeps pulling. You can also toggle between FWD, RWD, and AWD on the fly: run one motor to conserve battery on easy ground, and both when the terrain turns hostile.
How far will the Megatron 4.0 go on a charge?
Rambo rates the Megatron at up to 65 miles on a single battery, and up to 110 miles using its dual battery technology (adding the 48V 14Ah CYR second pack). Real-world range depends on assist level, drive mode, terrain, and load — running a single motor in lighter assist stretches range, while full AWD under heavy load draws more.
Can it handle hunting loads — gear in, harvest out?
That is what it is built for. The Megatron carries a 350 lb load capacity on a TIG-welded, hydroformed 6061 T6 frame, with an integrated rear rack for panniers, gear bags, and hauling accessories. With 180Nm of combined torque and power at both wheels, it climbs loaded — and 4-piston hydraulic brakes with 203mm front rotors bring the loaded descent back under control.
Should I choose the 20Ah or 30Ah battery?
Both are 48V packs built with LG branded cells. The 20Ah (960Wh, 12 lbs) suits riders who hunt within a typical day's loop or plan to add the dual battery later. The 30Ah (1440Wh, 16 lbs) carries 50% more energy for longer routes, heavier loads, cold weather, or more time spent in full AWD. If you regularly ride deep and loaded, the 30Ah is the safer margin.
Why a single-speed drivetrain on a bike this powerful?
Simplicity is reliability in the backcountry. With no derailleur to bend on a rock or slip out of adjustment, the single-speed system with its KMC chain is essentially maintenance-free — the dual motors and throttle do the work a cassette normally would. If you want gears, Rambo supports an upgrade to a Shimano 8-speed drivetrain.
