Eunorau T1 Overview
The Eunorau T1 is a three wheel electric recumbent trike. Two wheels up front and one behind keep it standing on its own, so you never put a foot down. You sit low in a reclined mesh seat with an adjustable backrest and a headrest.
A 52V 750W rear hub motor with a torque sensor adds power in step with how hard you pedal, and a thumb throttle takes over when you want a break. It is a Class 2 electric bike, 20 MPH, with a UL certified 52V 16Ah battery good for up to 28 miles by Eunorau's figure.
Built to be lived with
An aluminium alloy frame with a mesh seat reclined at 35 degrees, two 20 inch front wheels and a 24 inch rear wheel. 77.2 inches long, 38.6 inches wide, seat 13 inches up. Eunorau covers the motor, battery and electrical parts for 24 months and the frame for 10 years.
THREE WHEELS DO THE BALANCING
Two wheels up front and one behind keep the T1 upright on its own. At a red light, at walking pace or parked, you never put a foot down or hold it up.
The seat is low and reclined, with a breathable mesh sling, an adjustable backrest and a padded headrest, so your wrists, neck and lower back carry less. Getting on is a sit down, not a leg swing, and Eunorau says most riders learn it in minutes.

POWER THAT MATCHES YOUR PUSH
The 52V 750W rear hub motor reads a torque sensor, which measures how hard you press the pedals and adds power to match. Starts feel smooth instead of jumpy, which matters most at low speed and on hill starts. A thumb throttle moves you without pedaling.
The 52V 16Ah battery uses LG cells and rides under the rear rack. Eunorau lists it as UL certified and rates it at up to 28 miles; assist level, throttle use, load, hills and cold weather all change that.

STOPS FIRM, PARKS STILL
Full hydraulic disc brakes on 180mm rotors stop the T1 with light lever effort and cut the motor the moment you brake. The hydraulic parking lock holds the trike still while you climb in and out.
Shimano Altus 7 speed gearing on a 14 to 28 tooth freewheel covers climbs and flat cruising, and the 44 tooth chainring sits behind an aluminium chain guard.

Key features

Dual Layer Rack

What it's made of
Four things that set it apart. Tap through them.

Display
Speed, battery and turn signals
A color display shows speed, battery level and assist level. Buttons beside it work the left and right turn signals, and an arrow on screen shows which one is on.

Battery
A UL certified 52V battery
The 52V 16Ah battery of LG cells sits under the rear rack and locks with a key. Eunorau lists it as UL certified.

Mirrors
Two rearview mirrors
A mirror on each side shows the traffic behind you, so there is no twisting around from the reclined seat.

Safety flag
A flag at eye level
A recumbent sits lower than a bicycle, so a tall red flag lifts your profile closer to drivers' line of sight, especially near intersections and parked cars.

Questions before buying
Is a recumbent trike hard to ride?+
No. Three wheels keep it upright, so you never balance it, even stopped. You sit down into the seat instead of swinging a leg over, the parking lock holds it still while you do, and Eunorau says most riders get the hang of it in minutes.
What does the torque sensor do?+
It measures how hard you press the pedals and adds motor power to match, many times a second. A cadence sensor only notices that you are pedaling and adds a set amount, which can feel jumpy. On a trike the smooth kind makes slow turns and hill starts easier.
How far does it go?+
Eunorau rates it at up to 28 miles and calls that a real world figure. Assist level, throttle use, rider and cargo weight, hills and temperature all change it. Steady pedaling on moderate assist gets close; throttle only riding or towing a loaded trailer uphill gets less.
Is it street legal?+
Eunorau lists it as a Class 2 electric bike: pedal assist plus a throttle, topping out at 20 MPH. Most states treat Class 2 like a bicycle, but rules vary by state and town, so check yours before riding on roads or paths.
How visible is it in traffic?+
A recumbent sits lower than a bicycle, so the T1 comes with a tall red safety flag to lift your profile toward drivers' eye level. It also has two mirrors, an LED headlight, a rear light with brake light and turn signals, a horn and reflectors.
Can it carry cargo or tow a trailer?+
Yes. The dual layer aluminium rack takes bags and panniers, and a built in hitch takes a cargo trailer, sold separately. Eunorau rates the trike for 265 lb in total, rider and cargo.
Who does it fit?+
Eunorau fits it to riders 5'3" to 6'5", and the backrest adjusts. The seat sits 13 inches off the ground, so getting in is a low sit down; if standing up from a low chair is hard for you, keep that in mind.
Does it arrive assembled?+
Not fully. It comes with tools and a manual, and Eunorau posts assembly videos for the last steps. Eunorau does not publish the trike's weight, so plan on two people to lift it out of the box, and photograph any box damage before you unpack.
What does UL certified mean?+
It means the battery was tested by an independent lab against a published safety standard for electrical and fire risk, which matters for a 52V battery you charge at home. Eunorau lists the T1 battery as UL certified.
What is the warranty?+
Eunorau covers the motor, battery and electrical parts for 24 months and the frame for 10 years, for the original owner. Wear parts such as brake pads, rotors, tires, chains and grips are not covered, and neither are crashes, stunt riding or racing. Eunorau asks you to register the bike right after purchase and to have it checked by a Eunorau dealer after the first year. We are an authorized dealer, so the warranty applies.
Dark Grey or Orange?+
Same trike, same price. Dark Grey has a dark grey frame; Orange has an orange frame with the same black seat, wheels and rack.
