Fit
Solé size by inseam first: it matters more than height. Measure from the floor to your groin and leave at least 1 inch of clearance over the top tube with your feet flat. On the cusp of two sizes, Solé suggest the smaller one. If you are under 5'4", get sized at a bike shop before you buy. Suggested weight capacity is 275 lb.

The Solé Three Speed City Cruiser is Solé's original City Cruiser with a Shimano Nexus internal three speed hub added: a high tensile steel city bike for commuting, leisure rides and exercise. It is unisex, comes in four frame sizes from 46 to 58cm, and weighs 29 lb as Solé list it.
The three gears live inside the rear hub and change with an easy to use shifter on the bar. That is what lets it handle longer distances and power up moderate hills. Solé rate it for pavement, flat ground, some hills and hilly terrain.
Comfort comes from the position. Swept back city cruiser bars sit you upright, the saddle is extra padded and riveted, and 700 x 35c tires strike a balance between comfort and speed. Front and rear hand brakes come on the bike. Skip it if you ride gravel or mountain trails.
Comfort parts, on the bike
It comes with the Shimano Nexus three speed hub and shifter, front and rear alloy dual pivot hand brakes, the swept back City Cruiser handlebar with faux leather Gripmasters Leather Edition grips, the padded riveted City Cruiser saddle, a KMC stainless steel chain and a sealed bearing square taper bottom bracket. It arrives 90% assembled, with the tools and instructions to finish the job.
Solé cover the frame and fork for five years against material and workmanship defects, for the original owner. Components, paint and decals are not part of that warranty, and improper assembly or modification can void it.
The City Cruiser handlebar sweeps back toward you, so you ride sitting upright instead of leaning over the bars. Solé fit their faux leather Gripmasters Leather Edition grips, and the bike is unisex across all four sizes, built for urban commuting, leisure riding and exercise.
The City Cruiser saddle is extra padded and riveted, on a 25.4mm x 300mm seatpost you set to your height. Solé pair it with larger 35c tires, which add comfort to the upright position and still keep the bike quick and responsive.

Solé call this their one bike quiver: the original City Cruiser, beefed up with a Shimano Nexus internal three speed hub. The gears sit inside the rear hub and an easy to use shifter moves between them, so you can take on longer distances and power up moderate hills.
Up front is a 170mm alloy crankset with a 46T chainring on a 5 bolt 130 BCD, for a 46:18 gear ratio, running a 1/8 inch KMC stainless steel chain. Solé rate the bike for pavement, flat ground, some hills and hilly terrain.

Size by inseam first. Solé list 46cm for riders 4'10" to 5'2" with a 31.75" minimum inseam, 50cm for 5'3" to 5'7" (32"), 54cm for 5'8" to 5'11" (33 1/4") and 58cm for 6'0" and up (34 1/8"). On the cusp of two sizes, go smaller. Under 5'4", Solé recommend getting sized at a bike shop first.
It is a Shimano Nexus internal three speed hub: the gears sit inside the rear hub, and an easy to use shifter moves between them. With a 46T chainring the gear ratio is 46:18. Solé fit it so the bike can handle longer distances and power up moderate hills.
Hand brakes front and rear. Solé fit alloy dual pivot brakes with hinged alloy levers for braking power with control.
Solé rate it for pavement, flat ground, some hills and hilly terrain, which is the point of the three speed hub. It is not built for gravel or mountain trails. If your route is flat, the Solé Single Speed / Fixed Gear is the lighter, simpler choice.
It arrives 90% assembled. You screw in the pedals, fit the handlebars, install the front wheel, drop in the seat and pump up the tires. The tools come in the box. Solé suggest a bike shop check, but you can do it yourself, and there is a build guide for this model.
Solé list the bike at 29 lb (13.1 kg). Suggested weight capacity for Solé bicycles is 275 lb.
