Full Manufacturer Backing: State Bicycle Co.
Every bike we sell carries State Bicycle Co.’s own Limited Warranty against manufacturing defects, from the date you receive it. It covers the original purchaser and is not transferable.

Standard coverage, on every bike:

  • 5 years, frame and fork: steel, aluminium and titanium frames and forks.
  • 1 year, carbon frame and fork: extended to 2 years under ProBuild, below.
  • 1 year, components: non-consumable parts — crankset, pedals, bars, stem, seatpost, wheels, hubs and carbon forks.
  • 18 months, eBike system: motor, electronics and battery.

ProBuild: optional, free, and worth doing
ProBuild is not something you buy and it is not required for your warranty to be valid. It is an upgraded tier State unlocks when any professional bike shop assembles the bike and you register it with State within 30 days of delivery. Your local shop counts.

  • Carbon frames and forks go from 1 year to 2 years.
  • Priority claim review, ahead of unregistered bikes.
  • Free or discounted shipping on approved warranty parts.
  • Discounted replacement pricing for up to 5 years, even when the damage is a crash rather than a defect.

What is not covered
Normal wear and tear on any bike: tires, tubes, chains, brake pads, grips, bar tape, saddles, spokes, and paint or cosmetic finish. Nor is crash and impact damage, improper assembly or adjustment, lack of maintenance, modifications, or incompatible parts. Shop labour is the rider’s responsibility under either tier. RAW finish steel frames are not covered against rust — that is the finish behaving as intended.

Hassle-free registration
Don’t sweat the paperwork. Email your proof of assembly and order details to support@belcopia.com and our team will handle the registration with State for you, so the ProBuild tier is active before you need it. You will need your serial number, which is engraved on the underside of the bottom bracket shell.

Fit

Find your size

Sizes overlap on purpose. Between two, the smaller is the more playful bike and the larger is the more stable one at speed. Every size shares a 426.5mm chain stay, a 65 degree head angle and a 44mm fork offset, so the handling stays consistent across the range.

4130 Trail Sagebrush Green SRAM Eagle AXS Overview

The State Bicycle Co. 4130 Trail in Sagebrush Green with SRAM Eagle AXS is the wireless build of State's chromoly hardtail, at $1,999.99. The frame, the 130mm RockShox Psylo Silver RC fork, the Tektro hydraulics and the WTB i30 wheels are the same as the cable bikes. The drivetrain is not.

SRAM S1000 Eagle Transmission is hangerless. The derailleur mounts straight through the UDH dropout into the frame rather than hanging off a bracket, so there is no hanger to bend, no limit screws to set and no cable to route or replace. It shifts from an AXS Pod on the bar, and the battery and charger are in the box. The cassette is a 10 to 52T, which is 520 percent of range against 454 from the Shimano build.

Skip it if you would rather spend the $500 on wheels or a dropper. A cable drivetrain that is set up properly shifts well, and this frame takes one. What you buy here is a drivetrain that does not drift out of index and cannot bend a hanger.

Standards you can build on

Every interface on this bike is a current standard. A 73mm BSA threaded bottom bracket, a 31.6mm seat tube with internal routing, Boost 110 and 148mm hub spacing, and a 35mm bar clamp. The UDH dropout is not just compatible here, it is the mount: the Transmission derailleur bolts straight through it.

Questions before buying? Call 718.808.6415, Monday to Friday.

NO HANGER, NO LIMIT SCREWS

Every cable derailleur in the world hangs off a small aluminium bracket designed to bend before your frame does. It works, and it is also the part that quietly ruins rides: bend it slightly and the shifting goes vague, bend it properly and you are done for the day.

Eagle Transmission deletes it. The derailleur clamps around the rear axle and mounts through the UDH dropout into the frame itself, so the load goes into the frame rather than a sacrificial tab. There are no limit screws, because the derailleur knows where the frame is. Setup is a setup key and a firmware pairing rather than a barrel adjuster and a good ear.

130MM OF ROCKSHOX PSYLO

The fork is where cheap hardtails are usually cheap. A coil spring, 30mm legs and a damper that is really just a hole. This build gets a RockShox Psylo Silver RC: 130mm of travel on 35mm upper tubes, the diameter that stops the front end flexing when you brake hard into a rocky corner.

Inside it is a Solo Air spring you set with a shock pump to your own weight, and a Motion Control damper with an external compression adjuster. The steerer ships uncut so a shop can set your bar height before trimming it, on a 65 degree head angle.

WHAT'S IN THE BOX

4130 Trail Complete Bike

Ships partially unassembled. It needs the crank and front wheel fitted, the fork set up and the steerer cut to your height. State recommends professional assembly and so do we.

AXS Battery And Charger

The SRAM AXS battery and its charger are in the box, and the Pod's coin cell is already fitted.

Belcopia Support

We are an authorized State Bicycle Co. dealer, so every bike is backed by State’s own warranty. Questions before or after the sale, call 718.808.6415, Monday to Friday.

Questions before buying

What does hangerless actually mean?

The derailleur bolts directly through the frame's UDH dropout instead of hanging off a small aluminium bracket. There is no hanger to bend in a crash and no limit screws to set, because the derailleur indexes itself against the frame. It is also stiffer, which is why Transmission shifts cleanly under load.

What size 4130 Trail should I get?

State lists the XS/S for riders 5 foot 1 to 5 foot 5, the S/M for 5 foot 5 to 5 foot 10, the M/L for 5 foot 10 to 6 foot 1, and the XL for 6 foot 1 to 6 foot 5. Sizes overlap on purpose. Between two, the smaller is the more playful bike and the larger is the more stable one at speed.

Is the bike in the photos the bike that ships?

The white background studio photos are. State's own outdoor press shots show a bike fitted with Industry Nine Sector Carbon wheels and a Seekrun S7 wireless dropper, which are paid upgrades and are not included. What ships is WTB i30 wheels on Boost hubs and a 31.6mm SBC seatpost with a quick release collar.

How is the battery handled?

The battery and charger are included. It is the same rechargeable AXS battery SRAM uses across its whole wireless range, so a spare from another bike drops straight in, and it swaps in a few seconds with no tools. The Pod runs a separate coin cell that lasts years rather than rides.

How much range does 10 to 52T give?

520 percent, against 454 percent from the Shimano 12 speed build and 418 percent from the MicroShift 11 speed. The 10 tooth top gear is the part the cable builds cannot match, and the 52 tooth bail out is there for steep loose climbing.

Can I fit a dropper post?

Yes. The seat tube is 31.6mm with internal routing already in the frame, so a cabled dropper routes through it and a wireless post needs no routing at all. Pairing a wireless post with Transmission leaves no shift or dropper cable on the bike at all.
