The Carbon Road SL — SL for Super Light — is the full carbon platform State has raced at a high level, rebuilt with an advanced T800 & T1000 carbon layup that saves approximately 300 grams over the Standard frame at size M. Part of that weight comes from the premium layup, and part comes from deleting paint entirely. The finish is raw carbon under a UV protective coating, with minimal oil-slick decals. The weave is not hidden. It is the point. Underneath it sits a full carbon road and race frame with a T47 threaded bottom bracket, fully internal cable routing, a UDH-compatible derailleur hanger, and clearance for tires up to 32mm.
Every SL build ships with a fully integrated carbon cockpit as standard — a $249.99 upgrade on Standard models, included here in the box, saving another 180g and cleaning up the aero front end. Shifting is fully wireless. SRAM Rival E1 AXS runs a 2x setup with no derailleur cables to route, snag, or maintain, and the bike rolls on Vittoria Corsa N.EXT 28c tubeless-ready tires. You choose how it rolls underneath you: the 30mm DT Swiss A1800 alloy wheelset, or the 40mm ENVE AR40 carbon upgrade that drops a complete medium to 16 lb 11 oz. The Finish Is Part of the Weight Savings
The SL skips paint entirely. The frame is finished in raw carbon weave under a UV protective coating with minimal oil-slick decals — visually clean, structurally uncompromising. Deleting the paint is part of how the SL trims roughly 300 grams over the Standard at size M; the advanced T800 & T1000 layup does the rest.
The frame routes every cable internally for a clean line from cockpit to dropout, threads its bottom bracket on a T47 standard for a creak-free interface, and carries a UDH-compatible derailleur hanger so a replacement is easy to find anywhere. The full carbon fork ships with an uncut steerer, set to your fit at assembly.

2x Range, No Cables
The Carbon Road runs SRAM Rival E1 AXS, a fully wireless 2x drivetrain. A 48/35t crankset up front pairs with an XG-1250 10-36T 12-speed cassette out back, giving you a tight, usable spread for flat-road speed and the low gears for long climbs.
The Rival AXS E1 MAX 36T rear derailleur and Rival AXS E1 front derailleur are powered by EP Powerpack 2 batteries, with two on the bike. Wireless shifters mean no shift housing, no internal cable runs to bleed, and a cockpit that stays clean. Push the button. It shifts.
