State Bicycle Co. Carbon All-Road v2 Colorado Blue
T800 Carbon 12-Speed Gravel & All-Road Bike.
"Full Carbon. Every Modern Standard. Starting at $2,399."
The State Bicycle Co. Carbon All-Road v2 is a full carbon gravel bike built to a simple standard: everything a modern gravel frame should have, at a price below what many brands charge for the frameset alone. The T800 carbon frame carries a UDH rear hanger, a T47 threaded bottom bracket, built-in downtube storage, and clearance for tires up to 2.2 inches.
The Colorado Blue colorway is a deep teal blue across the frame and fork, with white State logos. Choose between two 12-speed drivetrains and three wheelset options to build the all-road bike that matches how you ride. BIKE Magazine named it one of the best value carbon gravel bikes available in 2026.
"SRAM engineered the 303 XPLR platform around the gravel tire first: wide, deep, and hookless, instead of just widening a road rim. The result is lower tire pressure without the squirm, more cornering grip, and real aero gains once you are moving at gravel race speed."
BUILT FOR RIDERS WHO
- You are moving up from an aluminum or steel gravel bike and want a genuine carbon frame without a $5,000 price tag
- You ride a mix of pavement, hardpack, and rough gravel and want one bike that covers all three
- You value common standards you can service yourself over integrated parts that require a shop visit
- You plan to grow into bikepacking and want the mounts and storage already built in
- You want an upgrade path, from wheels to drivetrain, that does not require replacing the bike
MODERN STANDARDS, NO PROPRIETARY PARTS
Built for Easy Ownership
Many carbon bikes reduce cost with proprietary components: a seatpost only one brand sells, a press fit bottom bracket that develops creaks, or a one-piece cockpit that complicates simple repairs. The Carbon All-Road v2 avoids all of it.
The T47 threaded bottom bracket installs with a standard tool and accepts a wide range of cranksets. The UDH derailleur hanger is the universal standard, stocked by nearly every bike shop. Cables route internally through the frame and fork for clean looks, then externally at the cockpit where service actually happens. Bicycling magazine noted the frame favors durability and easy serviceability over flashy shaping.
RACE GEOMETRY WITH BUILT-IN STORAGE
Fast Fit. Fidlock Downtube Box Included.
The v2 uses race-leaning geometry: a shorter head tube and a more aggressive fit that holds speed confidently on hardpack without giving up stability on loose surfaces. Reviewers at Bicycling specifically called out how well it carries speed.
Inside the downtube sits a storage compartment with a Fidlock magnetic closure and an included neoprene bag for tools, tubes, and food. Weight stays low and centered in the frame, so handling is unchanged whether the box is full or empty.
KEY FEATURES
*Wheelset images show the available upgrade options. Your bike ships with the configuration selected above.
Tire Clearance to 2.2 Inches
Fits 700c tires up to 2.2 inches or 650b up to 2.3 inches. That is more room than most gravel bikes offer, and it covers everything from fast pavement tires to rough-terrain rubber.
Hydro-Mechanical Disc Brakes
Hydraulic braking power at the caliper with cable actuation at the lever. 160mm rotors front and rear, and roadside adjustment needs only a multitool.
Serviceable Cable Routing
Internal routing through the frame and fork keeps the bike clean. External routing at the cockpit keeps cable changes simple, with no need to disassemble the front end.
UDH Derailleur Hanger
Universal Derailleur Hanger, the industry standard. Replacements are stocked at any bike shop and the frame stays compatible with future drivetrains, instead of depending on a proprietary part that gets discontinued.
T47 Threaded Bottom Bracket
A threaded T47 shell rather than press-fit. Wide enough for clean internal routing and stiff at the cranks, and it services with standard tools without the creak that pressed bearings develop.
Mounts on Downtube, Fork, and Top Tube
Extra mounting points accept cargo cages, bolt-on bags, and additional bottles. The bike converts to a bikepacking setup with no clamps or straps.

WHY THIS BUILD MATTERS
Universal Hanger
The universal derailleur hanger is stocked at nearly every bike shop, so a bent hanger is a same-day fix rather than a special order. It also makes the frame compatible with future direct-mount drivetrains.
Threaded Bottom Bracket
The T47 threaded design eliminates the creaking common to press fit systems and installs with standard tools. It also accepts a wider range of cranksets than most carbon frames.
Best Value Carbon
A complete T800 carbon build from $2,399. BIKE Magazine listed it among the best value carbon gravel bikes of 2026, noting the price undercuts many big-name framesets alone.

Which drivetrain option should I choose?
Both are 12-speed with the same brakes and crank. The standard 11-46t cassette suits mostly pavement and fast gravel. The Mullet 11-50t adds a lower climbing gear for steep terrain and loaded riding, for $70 more. Riders who climb regularly or carry gear should choose the Mullet.
What is the difference between the three wheelset options?
The included State All-Road v2 wheelset is a solid 32-spoke aluminum build suitable for most riders. The DT Swiss G1800 upgrade adds proven DT Swiss 370 hubs and arrives tubeless-ready with tape installed, for $450. The Zipp 303 XPLR S is a carbon gravel race wheelset with a $1,500 retail value, available for $1,000.
How wide a tire can I fit?
Up to 2.2 inches (58mm) on 700c wheels, or 2.3 inches on 650b, per State's official specification sheet. The bike ships with 50mm Vittoria T50 tires on 700c or 47c Vittoria Terreno Dry on 650b, both tubeless ready.
What does the frameset weigh?
The complete frameset is 1,888 grams, about 4 pounds 3 ounces, measured on the Medium: 1,280g frame, 440g fork, and 168g of axles and hardware.
Does it come with pedals?
No. Pedals are a personal preference at this level, so State ships the bike without them. Flat and clipless options are available in our accessories collection.
Is the bike ready to ride on arrival?
It arrives boxed and requires professional assembly before riding. All State carbon bikes are packed and shipped from their facility in Phoenix, Arizona.
