State Bicycle Co. Carbon All-Road v2 Colorado Blue Rival AXS
T800 Carbon 13-Speed Wireless SRAM Rival AXS Gravel & All-Road Bike.
"Full Carbon. Fully Wireless. Starting at $3,399."
The State Bicycle Co. Carbon All-Road v2 Rival AXS is the wireless version of State's T800 carbon gravel bike. Same race-ready frame, same downtube storage box, same modern standards: a UDH rear hanger, a T47 threaded bottom bracket, and clearance for tires up to 2.2 inches. The difference is the drivetrain. There are no shift cables on this bike at all.
The Colorado Blue finish is a deep teal blue across the frame and fork, with white State logos and a red accent at the head tube. Pick one of two wireless SRAM AXS drivetrains and one of three wheelsets to build the all-road bike that matches how you ride. BIKE Magazine named the platform one of the best value carbon gravel bikes available in 2026.
"SRAM engineered the 303 XPLR platform around the gravel tire first: wide, deep, and hookless, instead of just widening a road rim. The result is lower tire pressure without the squirm, more cornering grip, and real aero gains once you are moving at gravel race speed."
BUILT FOR RIDERS WHO
- You want electronic shifting that stays accurate in mud, dust, and grit, where cables bind and go vague
- You ride a mix of pavement, hardpack, and rough gravel and want one bike that covers all three
- You would rather choose your own gear range than accept whatever the bike shipped with
- You plan to grow into bikepacking and want the mounts and storage already built in
- You want a carbon race build without paying what the big brands ask for the same parts
MODERN STANDARDS, NO PROPRIETARY PARTS
Built for Easy Ownership
Many carbon bikes reduce cost with proprietary components: a seatpost only one brand sells, a press fit bottom bracket that develops creaks, or a one-piece cockpit that complicates simple repairs. The Carbon All-Road v2 avoids all of it.
The T47 threaded bottom bracket installs with a standard tool and accepts a wide range of cranksets. The UDH derailleur hanger is the universal standard, stocked by nearly every bike shop, and it is what lets this frame run SRAM's direct-mount Transmission derailleur. Bicycling magazine noted the frame favors durability and easy serviceability over flashy shaping.
NO SHIFT CABLES, TWO GEAR RANGES
Wireless SRAM AXS. Battery and Charger Included.
Both drivetrain choices are fully wireless SRAM AXS, shifted from Rival E1 carbon levers with full hydraulic disc brakes. There is no shift housing to route, stretch, contaminate, or replace. Shift quality on the last hour of a dusty ride is the same as the first.
Choose Rival XPLR AXS, 13-speed with a 10-46t cassette, for long gravel days and a tighter, race-oriented gear range. Or choose the Eagle Transmission Mullet AXS, 12-speed with a 10-52t cassette, when the priority is big climbs, bikepacking weight, and rowdy terrain. Both use the same 42t direct-mount crank, and both include the battery and charger.
KEY FEATURES
*Wheelset images show the available upgrade options. Your bike ships with the configuration selected above.
Tire Clearance to 2.2 Inches
Fits 700c tires up to 2.2 inches, or 2.4 inches on 650b wheels. That is more room than most gravel bikes offer, and it covers everything from fast pavement tires to rough-terrain rubber.
Full Hydraulic Disc Brakes
SRAM Rival E1 carbon levers running full hydraulic calipers. Real one-finger braking power on long loose descents, with none of the cable friction of a hydro-mechanical setup.
Serviceable Cable Routing
With no shift cables at all, only the brake hoses remain. They route internally through the frame and fork for clean looks, then externally at the cockpit so a hose change does not mean stripping the front end.
UDH Derailleur Hanger
Universal Derailleur Hanger, the industry standard. Replacements are stocked at any bike shop and the frame stays compatible with future drivetrains, instead of depending on a proprietary part that gets discontinued.
T47 Threaded Bottom Bracket
A threaded T47 shell rather than press-fit. Wide enough for clean internal routing and stiff at the cranks, and it services with standard tools without the creak that pressed bearings develop.
Fidlock Downtube Storage
A storage compartment inside the downtube with a magnetic Fidlock closure and an included neoprene bag for tools, tubes, and food. Weight stays low and centered, so handling does not change when it is loaded.

WHY THIS BUILD MATTERS
Wireless Shifting
With no shift cables, there is no housing to contaminate with grit or water. Shifting on hour six of a dusty gravel ride is as crisp as hour one, and there is no cable stretch to adjust out over the season.
Two Gear Ranges
The 10-46t 13-speed and 10-52t 12-speed options are a real choice, not a trim level. Pick tight race-oriented steps or a low climbing gear for loaded days, for a $70 difference.
Universal Hanger
The universal derailleur hanger is stocked at nearly every bike shop, so a bent hanger is a same-day fix. It is also what allows the direct-mount Transmission derailleur to bolt straight to the frame.

Which of the two wireless drivetrains should I choose?
Both are fully wireless SRAM AXS with the same Rival E1 carbon levers, hydraulic brakes, and 42t crank. Rival XPLR AXS is 13-speed with a 10-46t cassette, best for long gravel days and endurance riding where you want tighter steps between gears. The Eagle Transmission Mullet AXS is 12-speed with a 10-52t cassette, which gives a much lower climbing gear for steep terrain, bikepacking loads, and MTB-width tires. The Mullet is $70 more.
Does the AXS drivetrain come with a battery and charger?
Yes. Both drivetrain options include the battery and charger as standard equipment. Nothing extra is required to get the bike shifting.
What is the difference between the three wheelset options?
The included State All-Road v2 wheelset is a 32-spoke double wall aluminum build on 4 sealed bearing hubs, suitable for most riders. The DT Swiss G1800 upgrade adds DT Swiss 370 hubs and arrives tubeless-ready with tape installed, for $450. The Zipp 303 XPLR S is a hookless carbon gravel race wheelset with a $1,500 retail value, available for $1,000.
How wide a tire can I fit?
Up to 2.2 inches (55mm) on 700c wheels, or 2.4 inches on 650b. The bike ships on 700c with 50mm tires, either the Vittoria Terreno T50 or the Continental Terra Hardpack TR, both tubeless ready.
What crank length comes on my size?
State sizes the crank to the frame: 165mm on X-Small, Small, and Medium, and 170mm on Large and X-Large.
Does it come with pedals?
No. Pedals are a personal preference at this level, so State ships the bike without them. Flat and clipless options are available in our accessories collection.
Is the bike ready to ride on arrival?
It arrives boxed and requires professional assembly before riding. All State carbon bikes are packed and shipped from their facility in Phoenix, Arizona.
