Three Working Modes

  • Pedal-Mode   The bike is ridden just like a regular bicycle, powered only by the rider.
  • Pedal-Assist–Mode   The onboard computer activates the motor only when the pedals are turning in order to assist the rider. This mode makes it easier to pedal up hills and against the wind or to go faster on flat ground. The rider can control the level of assistance received from the motor by adjustments to the display unit mounted on the handlebars.
  • Electric–Mode   The rider simply twists the throttle to engage the motor and start moving (similar to the operation of a moped). No pedaling is needed when using the bike in this mode, making it great for taking a break without necessarily having to stop traveling.

Good ebike for the money

My new ride is a peace dove e-bike. This was my first ebike, and I was pleasantly impressed by how well it performed. The monitor is simple to comprehend, and mode 1 gives me 30 miles per charge. I travel along a trail that parallels a train track. There are a few minor hills, and part of the path goes through a city. With a V-brake up front and disk brakes on the back wheel, the brakes are not particularly effective at stopping the vehicle. I'm in the process of getting new front and rear brake pads to see if that helps with stopping. I later purchased a new ebike for a greater range. Good ebike for the money.

Bike is ok

The bike is okay, but it needs to be twitched frequently, the brakes and gear changer need to be adjusted, and the pedal assist isn't quite reliable in all gears. I wouldn't purchase one again.

easy to assemble

Except for the basket, assembly was reasonably simple. Install the front fender before the wheel. Very simple and comfortable to ride. good bargain.

I'm loving this bike

I'm really enjoying this bike so far, and my husband and I had no trouble putting it together after we got it. We did remove the fenders because they are made of weak plastic, and I had read other reviews that claimed they rattled. For someone my age, riding this bike requires a lot of skill, but I'm working on it. The second electric gear on this bike really makes it go quickly, and I haven't tried the third setting yet because I want to get to know it better. The manual gear portion does require some adjustment, but reading online has made it easier for me to comprehend how to do that. wishing you many enjoyable riding years!

bit disappointed

I finally had the chance to put this together, but I have a few problems. The front and rear brakes aren't functioning correctly, and I tried adjusting them without success. It also doesn't function in all 7 gears as it should, only a few of them. I've purchased from you before, and this is my third bike. I'm a little let down.
