79Bike Falcon Pro Overview
The 79Bike Falcon Pro is an electric dirt bike, not a bicycle. No pedals, no gears, no clutch: you stand on the footpegs, twist the throttle, and a 72V mid mounted motor rated at 10,000W peak and 410 N.m drives the rear wheel by chain. 79Bike quotes 56 MPH.
The 72V 35Ah LG battery holds 2,520 watt hours, good for up to 75 miles by 79Bike's figure depending on terrain and speed, and recharges in about 3.5 hours. A Fastace 2.0 fork with 200mm of travel and a Fastace rear shock with 85mm carry 19 inch wheels front and rear, with hydraulic brakes on 203mm rotors.
It is for private land and off road trails only, for riders 18 and up to 300 lb. At 130 lb it is the lightest bike 79Bike makes. Want more power? See the Lynx or the Falcon GT.
Built to be lived with
A triple beam forged aluminum frame on a Fastace 2.0 fork and a Fastace rear shock, on 70/100 19 off road tires front and rear. The seat sits 32.7 inches up on a 49.2 inch wheelbase.
Hydraulic brakes, a lit motor ring, a bigger dashboard with a neutral mode, a light sensor and NFC start all come on the bike. 12 months on the frame, motor, battery and electrics from 79Bike.
10,000W AT PEAK, 130 LB
A brushless permanent magnet motor sits low in the middle of the frame and drives the rear wheel by chain. 79Bike rates it at 10,000W at peak with 410 N.m of torque and quotes 56 MPH. Peak is the burst when you open the throttle; the bike holds less under steady load.
At 130 lb the Falcon Pro is the lightest bike in the 79Bike line, 22 lb under the Falcon GT. There are no gears and no clutch: a controller 79Bike developed in house runs the motor with field oriented control, and electronic braking slows the bike when you roll off.

UP TO 75 MILES ON 72V 35AH
2,520 watt hours of LG cells with a battery management system and several temperature sensors spread through the pack, which 79Bike says keeps power delivery steady under load and extends the pack's life.
79Bike quotes up to 75 miles on a charge and about 3.5 hours to refill from the charger in the box, and is clear that terrain and speed change the number. Ride it hard at 56 MPH and expect a good deal less.

Key features

What it's made of
Four things that set it apart. Tap through them.

Dashboard
A bigger dashboard with a neutral mode
The display shows more than the first Falcon did, and the mode switch now has a neutral (N) setting so the bike rolls freely when you park it. A light sensor flips the screen between day and night on its own. Tap your phone or the NFC card on the dash to unlock, like a hotel key card.

Throttle
Twist and go
A twist throttle on the right grip and no gears or clutch to work. 79Bike's own FOC controller meters the 10,000W peak motor so it pulls smoothly from a standstill, and electronic braking slows the bike when you roll off.

Brakes
Hydraulic brakes on 203mm rotors
A hydraulic lever at each grip, front on the right and rear on the left, on 203mm rotors front and rear per 79Bike's compare table.

Fork
Fastace 2.0 fork
An inverted Fastace 2.0 fork with 200mm of travel and preload and rebound adjustment, paired with a Fastace rear shock with 85mm of travel. Full suspension on 19 inch wheels front and rear.

Questions before buying
Falcon Pro, Lynx or Falcon GT?+
The Falcon Pro is the lightest and the least expensive: 130 lb, 10,000W at peak, a 72V 35Ah LG battery, 203mm rotors and 56 MPH. The Lynx adds a bigger 72V 40Ah battery, 12,000W peak, 220mm rotors and a Bluetooth speaker. The Falcon GT is the strongest: 16,000W peak, 610 N.m, a Samsung battery and a four way adjustable fork. If this is your first dirt bike, the Falcon Pro is plenty.
Is it street legal?+
No. 79Bike sells the Falcon Pro as an off road electric dirt bike. It has no pedals and reaches 56 MPH, so it is not an electric bicycle under any state's rules. Ride it on private land or on trails that allow dirt bikes, and check your local rules first.
How fast and how far does it go?+
79Bike rates it at 56 MPH and up to 75 miles on the 72V 35Ah battery, and says the range depends on terrain and speed. Rider weight, hills, soft ground and a heavy throttle hand all bring it down, so plan on a good deal less when you ride it hard.
How long does it take to charge?+
About 3.5 hours from empty with the charger in the box, by 79Bike.
Does it arrive assembled?+
79Bike does not publish assembly details for the Falcon Pro. Expect some final assembly and have a second person there when it arrives: the bike weighs 130 lb. Photograph any box damage before you unpack and tell us within 3 days of delivery.
Can I ride it in the rain?+
79Bike does not publish a water rating for the Falcon Pro, and its warranty does not cover damage from abnormal exposure to liquid. Damp trails and splashes are what a dirt bike is for; keep it out of deep water and do not hose down the motor or battery.
What is the warranty?+
79Bike covers the frame, motor, battery, controller, display, throttle, lights and wiring for 12 months from delivery, for the original owner. Crashes, stunt riding, racing, wear parts and any modification are not covered. We are an authorized dealer, so the warranty applies, and we handle the claim with 79Bike for you.
Which colour is which?+
Two frame colours, Kenshi Black or Silver Metallic, each with a choice of graphics on the body panels: Purple, Red or Yellow. Kenshi Black also comes in All Black with no coloured graphics. Same bike, same price, seven combinations.
Who is it for?+
79Bike recommends it for riders 18 and up, with a 300 lb rider weight limit. The seat is 32.7 inches off the ground on a 49.2 inch wheelbase.
